Reverend Veneta “Skipper” Flippin

Reverend “Skipper's” spiritual search started in her preteens. On her own, she attended different churches by walking or taking buses in search for understanding and meaning regarding faith. Having come from a background where religion was not stressed she felt she was missing something and had a deep desire to know about faith and spirituality. Her search continued until she found "A Course in Miracles" when she purchased her first "A Course in Miracles" book in 1992. However, it wasn’t until 1995 when Reverend Skipper found A Place for Miracles that she began an intense study. Since then she has devoted her spiritual path to the Course and was ordained on September 6, 1997. In May of 2005 she was appointed Senior Minister.

As Senior Minister Skipper strives to maintain the principles of "A Course in Miracles", which became the foundation for A Place for Miracles at its inception. Skipper teaches and facilitates classes, performs weddings, memorial services, and counseling.

Reverend Skipper feels very blessed to work with her husband and partner Tom in real estate sales and raising their granddaughter.
